In August 2023 the RDP Classifier was updated to version 2.14 using bacterial and archaeal training set No. 19. This training set includes 600 new genera and 2,500 new species over the previous version released in 2020, as well as numerous taxonomic rearrangements and adoption of new phyla names as proposed in Oren and Garrity (2021). For further details, see the release notes.
You may download the updated classifier from Sourceforge. In addition, there are species rank and QIIME2 formatted versions of the training data.
The web version of the RDP Classifier is no longer available.

Dear RDP Database Team,
I trust this message finds you well. I recently came across a page indicating that RDP is no longer available on line. I am saddened by this news as it was a valuable tool for me, and I had organized important data within the platform.
I had been trying to access the database for several months without success, and only recently discovered this information. In light of this, I’m reaching out to inquire if there is any possibility of retrieving the data stored in my folders. These data are crucial for my work, and any guidance or assistance you can provide regarding the retrieval process would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your attention, and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
I already replied to this via email. As I stated there, the data are unfortunately lost. The server is dead and the office is closed – funding ended, everyone retired or moved on to other jobs. But you can probably recreate the results using the command line version of RDPTools or other methods. I can offer help if you need it.
